You wake up in the morning to the sun rising over the sea, right outside your window. You put on your swimsuit, head downstairs, and you’re already at the beach. You stroll barefoot along the shoreline, allowing the gentle waves to kiss your legs.
After your walk, you head back inside. The aroma of coffee envelops the emerald green living room. On the blue terrace, you sit and gaze at the sea.
Your breakfast arrives: a croissant filled to your liking, freshly baked by the pastry chef in the square. There’s cappuccino, jams, and fresh bread from the baker up the street. Prefer something savory? Maria and Ghita offer local cured meats and cheeses, eggs, and fresh fruit.

You can go back down to the beach and enjoy the sea: Ghita and Maria will provide you with an umbrella and a chair.
You can easily rent a bicycle just a short walk from home and use the scenic bike path to explore the nearby towns and discover the beauty of the Ragusa coast.
Alternatively, with a car, you can reach the baroque wonders of Ragusa Ibla, Modica, and Scicli just a few kilometers from home and immerse yourself in their vibrant atmospheres.

Our breakfast
Sweet Italian breakfast with espresso, cappuccino, milk, tea. Each diner can choose from a list the brioche they prefer for the morning, which will be enjoyed accompanied by typical biscuits, fresh bread, jams, butter, fresh yogurt and fruit juices always present in our bar.
On request (additional 5€ payment) it is also possible to have typical local cheeses, cured meats, eggs, olives, ricotta and fresh bread every day.

You will be hosted by Emanuela
Mrs. Emanuela has the help of her two daughters, Ghita and Maria who make their guests' stay very pleasant with delicious and abundant breakfasts. Cleanliness and hygiene has always been a strong point of B&B l'Onda, and even more so in this period of pandemic. The large spaces enjoyed by the villa have made it possible to use the large outdoor terrace for enjoyable breakfasts and with a wonderful view of the sea, overlooking the beach.
Area city center
L'Onda bed and breakfast is in Marina di Ragusa, an ancient landing place called Mars-a’Rillah by the arabs and later Mazzarelli, as can be found on old maps dating back to 1558.
Thanks to its strategic position, Marina di Ragusa allows its visitors to discover not only wonderful beaches and seasides, but also historical, archeological, and artistic treasures.
Traces of its history are still easily seen all around Sicily.
A few chilometers far from Marina di Ragusa, the archeological sites of Kaukana and Kamarina, founded by the Greeks during the sixt century b. C.
A little further the towns of Siracusa, Taormina, Palazzolo Acreide, colonies of the Megna Grecia, with their unique archeological sites.
Moreover, the necropolis of Pantalica and Cava d’Ispica, which were excavated on vertical cliffs.
Last, but not least, the wonderful architecture in the baroque cities of Scicli, Modica, Ragusa Ibla. Walking along the narrow streets of the old towns is an unforgettable experience.
The Sicilian countryside is rich and varied, with many natural wonders.
A natural reserve is located 3 kilometer east of Marina di Ragusa, around the mouth of the Irminio River, with uncontaminated sand dunes, and a little further, on the West side, the Randello Natural Reserve.
